Denphone released a new softphone application, DenCall, to meet the growing needs of businesses for mobile communications.
The application allows users to make incoming and outgoing calls from company landline numbers provided by Denphone using a smartphone (iPhone, Android) or laptop computer (Windows, Mac).
This product was born out of the recent Corona disaster and the desire of Denphone customers to be able to access their company phones from home or remote offices.
In order to help organizations wishing to migrate away from hardware-based fax machines, as well as to support software developers who are building solutions to facilitate this, Denphone has released a fax REST API service.
Denphone's fax REST API service is both secure and reliable, and combined with our Denphone Hikari service, allows the use of Denphone-supplied Japanese fixed-line 0ABJ phone numbers (e.g. 03 for Tokyo 23 wards). It can also be used with a Denphone-supplied Japanese IP phone number (i.e. 050 number) over the public internet.

Two major changes that the new rules require are:
The Client using the numbers must be located in the relevant area (e.g. in Tokyo for 03)
The Telecom provider must run a physical circuit to the Client's premises
There is a 3 year grace period for existing Clients.
